February has been an exciting time within the Newman dialysis unit!
The dialysis machines have been connected to the water system and turned on for the first time. Testing of the systems are continuing, this is necessary to ensure a safe service.
Tania, our Dialysis Nurse has joined the dialysis team and is excited to greet the patients once we get the tick of approval to operate.
With all the troubles across Australia with floods and COVID affecting delivery across, equipment and stock are continuing to arrive.
What a difference a month can make, the dialysis clinic is nearly a fully functioning unit.
PAMS look forward to launching the dialysis clinic within this financial year.
